Mailing Requirements for Jazz (All Areas except Jazz Composition and Percussion)
Your materials packet must include the following:
- DVD/Videotape audition – you must label your DVD/VHS with your YoungArts ID BARCODE ONLY. (You will receive your ID BARCODE once you have completed the registration process.) DO NOT PLACE YOUR NAME OR ANY OTHER PERSONAL INFORMATION ON YOUR DVD/VHS. Include the names and composers of the pieces as well as the DVD track/Chapter # or VHS/DVD player counter/Timestamp on the content card inside the DVD/VHS case.
- Personal Information Form - click here to download the form, fill out, and mail in with your packet.
- Please label the outside of your envelope with your YoungArts ID BARCODE with your return address. If you wish to participate in more than one category, please submit each in a separate envelope.

It is not necessary, but recommended, to use an overnight mailing service so you can track your package. However, if you choose to use a service such as Federal Express, UPS or USPS overnight, the outermost envelope must include your YoungArts ID BARCODE.
How do you know we received it?
Once we have received and processed your YoungArts submission packet you will receive an email confirming that your packet was received. If you do not receive notification within three weeks of mailing, please contact us at 800-970-2787(ARTS).
Keep a copy!
Please note that your materials cannot be returned so we strongly recommend you keep a copy for your records.
No responsibility can be assumed by YoungArts for loss of, or damage to, submission packets.
